What is an Invoice?
Invoice is a billing document used to request payment in cryptocurrency. With this feature, you can create and send invoices to your clients, specifying the amount due in a particular currency.
When you create an invoice, you can include necessary details such as the payment amount, currency of the invoice, and the payment deadline. Then, you send the invoice link to the client, who can view and pay it using their cryptocurrency wallet. Once the payment is made and the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, you receive a notification of successful payment.
Invoice allows sellers to issue customized invoices to customers. It is suitable for situations where one-time payments with unique amounts are required, which may vary from one order to another.
Each invoice is unique and intended for one-time use. After the invoice is paid, it is closed and cannot be paid again.
Invoice or Checkout?
The main difference between an invoice and a checkout lies in their application and customization flexibility. Invoice is designed for one-time, personalized transactions and allows detailed specification of each payment. At the same time, checkout provides a convenient way for multiple uses for standard products and services with fixed prices, offering a more generalized but less flexible approach to accepting payments.
